Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is a disk utility that checks and monitors the status of your hard drives to help prevent data loss. The system is based on the Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.).
This software monitors hard disk parameters such as Temperature, Head Flying Height and Spin-Up Time and notifies a user when a critical condition occurs. Disk Monitor also displays hard disk information, current S.M.A.R.T. attributes and the overall status of the hard disk's health.
Advanced disk scan allows you to detect bad sectors on a disk surface. The software can be launched automatically at Windows startup and monitor the system in the background. An icon in the System Tray can display the temperature for selected HDDs.

Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is a disk utility that verifies and monitors the status and health of your hard drives to avoid any data loss.
The GUI of Active@ Hard Disk Monitor utility is friendly and easy to use; the information is divided in tabs providing different options to view and analyze information. The utility is based on the Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T).
The Disk Info tab shows the attribute’s names and their values, like disk details, volumes on the disk and advanced disk information including the S.M.A.R.T. capabilities and attributes.
The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) info tab displays all the attributes and their values (including Raw Value, Worst and threshold) and the status of each one of these attributes. By selecting any of these attributes we can view a description and a recommendation about the value for a better performance.
On the Scan Disk tab you can performance a scan disk to verify the integrity and allowing you to detect bad sectors on a disk’s surface of your Hard Disk Drives; the Event Log tab recorded all the events regarding the Hard Disk Drives. |
